Analisis Perubahan Iklim dan Kesehatan Mental pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta

Abstract


Perubahan iklim merupakan perubahan yang signifikan terhadap iklim dalam rentang waktu puluhan sampai ratusan tahun. Perubahan iklim dapat berdampak langsung berupa gelombang panas, banjir dan kekeringan, sedangkan dampak tidak langsung berupa Kesehatan manusia yang terganggu akibat adanya polusi udara, vektor penyakit, kekurangan gizi dan Kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap mahasiswa terkait kesehatan mental akibat dari perubahan iklim. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dengan menyajikan variable yang diteliti tanpa membandingkan antar variabel. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Kesehatan Masyarakat Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (PSKM FKM UMJ) pada bulan juni 2022 sebesar 213 responden. Perubahan iklim dapat gangguan psikologis, depresi dan kecemasan. Mahasiswa yang mempunyai respon cemas sebesar 151 orang (70,9%) dan mahasiswa yang mempunyai ketegangan terhadap perubahan iklim seperti cuaca ekstrim sebesra 120 orang (56,3%). Mahasiswa yang merasakan gangguan tidur akibat perubahan iklim sebesar 142 orang (66,7%) dan Sebagian besar tidak mengalami depresi sebesar 115 orang (54%). Oleh karena itu perlunya edukasi adaptasi perubahan iklim agar kesehatan mentalnya tetap baik.
