THE STUDY ON IMPLEMENTATION OF ZAKAT MANAGEMENTPOLICY AT NATIONAL AMIL ZAKAT INSTITUTION OF SUKABUMI REGENCY

Abstract

Zakat is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, therefore, paying zakat is not only a compulsory activity for everyhumanbeing, but it is also social and humanist activities that can be developed along with the advance ofmankind. Sukabumi Regency, in whichMoslembecomes majority, has a big potential for gaining zakat. Thispotential has to be well managed in order that its benefits are able to be received by theentire citizens ofSukabumi Regency. For this reason, in relation with the management of zakat, Sukabumi Regency haspublishedRegional Law No. 12s2005.
