Edukasi Pencegahan dan Tatalaksana MRSA pada Tenaga Kesehatan

Abstract


Hasil surveilans nasional pada delapan rumah sakit rujukan utama, menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan MRSA ini sangat tinggi. Prevalensi infeksi akibat MRSA menunjukkan rentang antara 25%-65% dengan rata-rata nasional adalah 38%. Maka penting adanya edukasi mengenai pencegahan penularan dan tatalaksana MRSA pada tenaga kesehatan. Rumah sakit perlu memastikan bahwa mampu mencegah penularan penyakit di dalam dan dari rumah sakit. Tujuan pengabdian ini memberikan edukasi pencegahan dan tatalaksana MRSA pada tenaga kesehatan. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa dari 196 responden yang diberikan edukasi, 83,16% memiliki tingkat pengetahuan pada kategori baik, 11,22% masuk dalam kategori pengetahuan cukup dan 5,61% dalam kategori kurang. Simpulan yaitu sebagian besar tenaga kesehatan memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang baik setelah diberikan edukasi mengenai mengenai pencegahan penularan dan tatalaksana MRSA pada tenaga kesehatan.
