Indonesia faces a significant risk of natural disasters; nonetheless, funding for prevention, readiness, and rebuilding remains insufficient. Conversely, as the nation with the highest Muslim population globally, the significance of Islamic philanthropy, specifically the potential of waqf in Indonesia, is substantial, integrating waqf into disaster management if executed correctly and backed by a sufficient ecosystem, including effective regulations and supportive administration. Indonesia is a nation that frequently faces natural disasters because of its geographically susceptible position, including the equatorial line, the convergence of tectonic plates, and the Circum-Pacific and Circum-Mediterranean zones. Catastrophes result in considerable economic damage, resulting in heightened poverty levels. Waqf can serve as a pertinent funding source for disaster management since its main aim is to use waqf assets based on their purposes, allowing it to effectively act as a tool for disaster prevention and for rebuilding after disasters. Through the use of waqf resources, the government, along with waqf management organizations, can oversee waqf funds as disaster relief funds to assist in managing disasters in Indonesia. The prospect for waqf in Indonesia is shown to be substantial, as illustrated by the waqf land in 2003, which spanned 154 hectares and had an estimated value of IDR 590 trillion. As of March 2024, waqf land is distributed across 440,512 sites, comprising 72% mosques and prayer areas, 14.5% madrasas, 4.5% burial grounds, and 9% various others.
2025-01-07T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Hendra Pertaminawatihttps://jurnal.umj.ac.id/index.php/MaA16/article/view/25901Filantropi Islam untuk Membangun Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah: Studi Kasus Fundrising untuk Pembangunan Masjid At-Tanwir PCM Bojongsari - Kota Depok2025-01-31T13:13:53+00:00Hamli Syaifullahhamlisyaifullah@umj.ac.idRini Fatma Kartikarini.fatma@umj.ac.idIcol DiantoIcoldianto@uinsyahada.ac.idMuhammad Khaerul Muttaqienmuhammadkhaerulmuttaqien@umj.ac.idMoh. This study employs qualitative methods through policy analysis and case studies to evaluate the effectiveness of various financing programs, such as the Indonesia Smart Card Program, in enhancing educational access for underprivileged communities. The findings indicate that government and private educational financing institutions have significantly reduced dropout rates and increased educational participation. However, challenges remain regarding equitable quality and sustainable educational financing. Furthermore, collaboration between the public and private sectors is emphasized to create a more inclusive financing system. This research underscores that educational financing institutions play a vital role in realizing a better national education vision and must continuously adapt to existing challenges to achieve these goals.
2025-01-20T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Matnur Ritonga, Oneng Nurul Bariyah, Muhammad Raihan Febriansyah, Dwi Kartika Susanti, Siti Hadiyanti Dini Islamiati, Voullin Hamzah, Ayu Lestarihttps://jurnal.umj.ac.id/index.php/MaA16/article/view/26222PERTIMBANGAN HUKUM HAK PERWALIAN ANAK AKIBAT PERCERAIAN ORANG TUA DI WILAYAH HUKUM PENGADILAN TINGGI AGAMA BANTEN2025-01-31T13:13:53+00:00Karmawan Karmawankarmawan@unis.ac.id
Divorce is a complex situation that often affects child custody and welfare.
