https://jurnal.umj.ac.id/index.php/MaA16/article/view/27038

Mathematical literacy is an essential competency that must be possessed by prospective madrasah ibtidaiyah teachers in order to develop meaningful, contextual, and life-relevant mathematics learning, including Islamic values. This study aims to analyze the mathematical literacy skills of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Program (PGMI) at the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Muhammadiyah University Jakarta (FAI UMJ) in the context of Islam. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of mathematical literacy tests based on Islamic context, in-depth interviews, and document studies. The research subjects were purposively selected, consisting of sixth-semester students who have completed the Elementary School Mathematics and Islamic Religious Education courses. The research results show that students' mathematical literacy abilities are still in the moderate category, with the highest achievements in the indicators of mathematical communication and the use of representations, but low in the indicators of reasoning and problem-solving in an Islamic context. Most students are able to relate mathematical concepts to life phenomena in Islam, such as zakat, prayer times, and inheritance distribution, but still struggle to apply systematic problem-solving strategies. These findings indicate the need for a stronger integration between mathematics content and Islamic values in the PGMI curriculum, as well as the necessity for faculty training and the development of Islamic contextual learning media. This research contributes to the development of madrasah teacher education that not only masters mathematical concepts academically but is also able to internalize and teach them within the framework of Islamic values.
Fatma NurmuliaLaely Farokhah Siti Lisdiyanti

In several Muslim societies‟ recent history, women‟s leadership has been a contentious topic. The majority of Muslim scholars have rejected it due to its crippling effects, however others have accepted it as a way to meet community needs in a contemporary setting. Because of the lack of a clear direction about the state‟s leadership and the government‟s high position, this topic is contentious and prone to conflict. In light of this, it is necessary to examine Muslim leadership in the perspective of modern Muslim scholars. The concept, a brief history, the opinions of modern Islamic scholars, and the significance of Muslim women‟s leadership within the framework of modern Islamic thought are all covered in this paper. M. Quraish Shihab and KH. Husein Muhammad‟s ideas on women‟s leadership are compared and contrasted, and they are founded on arguments and modern interpretations of the Qur‟an and the Sunnah. This essay comes to the conclusion that, in light of Islamic (Sharia) law, modern Muslim scholars are unable to offer a convincing and useful justification for women‟s leadership. While it‟s true that Islam doesn‟t offer any concrete rules, in actuality, it gives women a wide range of opportunities to work in the public sector. This is due to the fact that
men and women were formed in equal roles and have equal access to opportunities in areas such as employment and leadership roles.
Keyword: Women, Leadership, Hadith, Contemporary Reality.
Jainah Jainah Hanief MonadyNismah Sa’adah

Marriage is a religious command in the context of worshiping Him for a lifetime. However, due to disharmony in the household, divorce becomes the last resort that couples may take, which is allowed but hated by Allah SWT. This research is conducted using a descriptive-qualitative approach through documentation study, referring to several questions, including: (1) What are the legal consequences of marriage?; (2) What are the causes of divorce?; (3) How does the divorce process occur?; and (4) What are the impacts of fulfilling the rights of each party? From these questions, the answers include: (1) the consequence of marriage is the unity of the bond between husband and wife into a single household bond; (2) the main cause of divorce is the disharmony in the household relationship; (3) The divorce process is conducted at the Religious Court; and (4) The fulfillment of the rights of each party will be protected by law.
Muhammad Hardiansyah

https://jurnal.umj.ac.id/index.php/MaA16/article/view/27527

The development of deepfake technology that has been massively adopted by teenagers has caused serious problems because it has the potential to violate Islamic legal principles (such as the prohibition of al-kadhib and hifz al-‘irdh) and ethical norms. This study aims to analyze the use of deepfake by teenagers using the maqashid sharia theory, Kant's ethics, Kohlberg's moral theory, and Nonet-Selznick's responsive law, with qualitative normative-juridical methods and digital ethnography through literature studies, interviews with 15 scholars and 20 ethics-technology experts, and FGDs with 60 teenagers. The results show violations of Islamic principles, ethics (autonomy, non-maleficence, justice), and 12 articles of positive law with a 12-year criminal penalty, accompanied by moral impacts in the form of a crisis of trust and values, which demands Islamic value-based regulations and increased digital literacy.
Redi HadiyantoZalfa Zahirah

The phenomenon of radicalism that has infiltrated the world of education is a serious problem because it can disrupt the process of character formation of students and threaten national values. This study aims to explore how the pedagogical approach in Islamic Religious Education can protect students from radicalism through instilling moderate, tolerant, and contextual Islamic values. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach enriched with field data from observations, interviews, and documentation at SMP NEGERI 28 MEDAN. Descriptive-analytical analysis to interpret key concepts and their implementation in the school environment. The research findings indicate that efforts to prevent radicalism through Islamic education can be carried out effectively through various strategies, such as strengthening a moderation-based curriculum, empowering teachers as facilitators of religious dialogue, and implementing participatory and reflective learning methods. The values of tasamuh (tolerance), i'tidal (justice), and rahmah (compassion) are the main foundations in building students' critical awareness. In addition, the use of digital media in an educational manner has been proven to help students sort out extreme religious information.
Muhammad Rizqi Al-AliAyu LarasatiZidane ArdinoNabilla Zahroh

https://jurnal.umj.ac.id/index.php/MaA16/article/view/27261

For some people, memorizing the Qur'an is easy. However, many find memorizing the Qur'an difficult. Especially for children who are still in the development and play stage. One of the factors that influences children's difficulty in memorizing the Qur'an is when a friend disturbs other friends while memorizing the Qur'an. This makes the class not conducive so that teaching and learning activities are disrupted. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of the Talaqqi method in learning the Qur'an at SDIT Buah Hati Kramatjati, East Jakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach. The main sources in this study were the Qur'an teachers and students of SDIT Buah Hati Kramatjati, while the secondary sources were journals, books, e-books, and so on that were directly related to this study. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and document examinations. The examination of the validity of this research data used credibility by extending observations, increasing perseverance in research and triangulation. The findings of the study indicate that 1) Planning the learning of the Qur'an with the Talaqqi method using a syllabus and lesson plan is very important to ensure that learning activities run in a structured, organized manner and achieve the goals that have been set. 2) The application of the Talaqqi method has the advantage of a more personal approach and focuses on the quality of student reading. Such as in a class with 25 students, teachers can control around 8 to 9 students more intensively. This method allows teachers to provide direct guidance. During the memorization process, teachers actively provide evaluation and correction of students' reading. 3) The results of the application of the Talaqqi method have proven effective from researchers conducting observations in class. Students read the Qur'an properly and correctly after the teacher gave examples of the pronunciation of the letters of the Qur'an also accompanied by the rules of reading, so that errors in the pronunciation of hijaiyah letters (makharijul huruf) or tajwid rules are reduced because intensive guidance is carried out through Talaqqi.
Nadya Ayu Hapsari Siti RohmahSa’diyah Sa’diyah Busahdiar BusahdiarKhasnah Syaidah

Memorizing the Qur'an is a source of pride for a Muslim. It is not uncommon for parents to hope that their child becomes a memorizer of the Qur'an. However, in reality, a child often has little interest in memorizing the Qur'an. This is caused by various factors. The purpose of this research is to determine how enjoyable learning can enhance students' interest in memorizing the Qur'an, which is an extracurricular activity at SMP Nusantara Plus. This research method uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive type. The data collection techniques are through observation and interviews as well as documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction based on the Miles Huberman theory. The results of this study indicate that the strategy of PAI teachers in increasing interest in memorizing the Qur'an is by implementing peer tutoring cooperative learning, conducting outdoor learning, applying motivation and reward methods, and collaborating with parents to implement a review schedule at home.
Mahliga FitriansyahUmmah KarimahMalika FebriansyahLabil FadhilRiski Mulya AnandaIlyas HabibiSiti Shofiyah

https://jurnal.umj.ac.id/index.php/MaA16/article/view/27966

This paper examines some fundamentals of the Quranic messages and elucidates their timeless nature in challenging relativism through the lens of Islamic perspectives. The issues of relativism have been spreading in all elements of social and moral construction. Moreover, the authenticity and eternity of the Quran have been questioned. Consequently, the truth of messages in the Quran also has been doubted. In other words, without exception, all ingredients in the Qur’an become nothing. In fact, people become confused with values and standards of morals, truth, religion, etc, in their daily lives. Indeed, the Quran itself has declared this book a guide of life for human beings, which is rich in permanent values and standards of morals, truth, religion, etc., but these things are unbounded by time and place. It means that the messages of the Quran are timeless in nature. Therefore, this paper investigates some problems above by presenting some verses of the Quran as a permanent solution for relativism issues.
Ahmad NubailDinil Abrar Sulthani

This study aims to analyze the development of da'wah activities at At-Taubah Mosque, located in Bojong Village, Bogor. Based on field observations, the number of worshipers at At-Taubah Mosque was previously not as large as it is today. Therefore, it is essential to understand the process of da'wah development in this mosque, which has shown significant progress over the past six years. This research employs a qualitative approach using field research methods. Primary data were obtained from the management of the At-Taubah Mosque Council (DKM), while secondary data were collected from the surrounding community. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the progress of da'wah development at At-Taubah Mosque is supported by various community programs, such as weekly study sessions for men and women, a qurban installment program, death contribution funds, assistance for the sick, and the use of the mosque as a venue for communal prayers. Additionally, the DKM At-Taubah strengthens social engagement by organizing activities like communal breakfast with worshipers. As an innovation in da'wah, the weekly study session results have also been published on social media platforms, particularly YouTube.

Keyword: Strategy, Da'wah, Mosque, Communication, Da'wah Innovation
Suryadi Ali WahyudiTantan Hermansyah Muhammad Fanshoby

Masgo Village is one of the remote villages in Kerinci Regency that experiences marginalization in social, economic, and infrastructural aspects. This study aims to examine the extent to which the participation of marginalized communities can synergize with village government efforts in building sustainable village self-reliance. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that despite their marginalized condition, the people of Masgo Village possess strong social capital, such as a spirit of mutual cooperation and high community solidarity. Community participation is evident in various local initiatives, such as road repairs, water resource management, and the formation of farmer groups. However, participation in formal forums like village deliberations remains procedural and lacks inclusivity. The study recommends the need for empowerment strategies and facilitation from the village government so that the community's participatory potential can evolve into a transformative force for achieving village self-reliance.
Jira TaniaWelhendri AzwarMuhamad Jamil

https://jurnal.umj.ac.id/index.php/MaA16/article/view/27383

ABSTRACT

This study examines moral values in QS. Luqman verses 13-19 as a basis for parenting in the digital era and formulates a digital parenting strategy based on Qur'anic principles that are relevant to the challenges of the times. The analysis was conducted qualitatively with descriptive data presentation. The maudhui interpretation method and Fazlur Rahman's double movement approach were used to connect historical and contemporary meanings. Data were collected through a study of the verses of the Qur'an and interpretations as well as from books and articles about Digital Parenting. The results of the study show that values such as monotheism, gratitude, amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, and social etiquette in QS. Luqman verses 13-19 are relevant as a moral and spiritual basis in facing parenting challenges in the digital era, such as exposure to negative content, technology addiction, and declining moral character of children. These findings confirm that the integration of Qur'anic principles can strengthen ethical and empowering parenting strategies, as well as build children's character solidly morally and spiritually. In conclusion, strengthening moral values from these verses is important for building a resilient young generation amidst the rapid development of technology. This study provides practical and theoretical contributions to the development of Qur'anic value-based parenting strategies in a digital context.

Keyword: Digital parenting, thematic interpretation, QS.
