Abstract

This  article  aims  to  provide  an  overview  of  the  challenges  of  the disruption era and its impact on Islamic educational institutions today. The era of  disruption  presents  a  variety  of  rapid  changes  that  initially  occur  in  the business  world  and  industrial  sector,  then  penetrate  into  various  sectors  of human  life. There  are  various  impacts  that  need  to  be  overcome  in  order  to bring  more  optimal  results  in  accordance  with  the  target  of  educational activities.  Measurable  adaptive  steps  need  to  be  taken  by  Islamic  education institutions  to  respond  to  this  super-fast  disruption. This  article  answers  the question  of  how  the  challenges  of  educational  disruption  and  how  Islamic educational  institutions  should  respond  with  a  good  and  maximum anticipatory  and  adaptive  approach.  The  method  of  writing  this  article  is descriptive  qualitative  based  on  a  library  research  approach.  From  the  data analysis, several alternative formulas are offered to develop the management of Islamic education institutions in responding to educational disruption. The management in question includes governance, human resource management, optimization  of  educational  facilities  and  educational  actors,  namely educators, education personnel and students.
