Tintin Rustini, Ahmad Yunus, Muhamad Sofian Hadi

Abstract

Each student has different abilities, preferences, and needs. Therefore, they require different learning processes. Experts believe that differentiated learning can prevent students from feeling frustrated or a sense of failure in their learning experience (Tomlinson, 2017). The differentiated learning system is one of the learning methods in the Merdeka Belajar curriculum and the Guru Penggerak program. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of applying the differentiated learning method in improving the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDIT Bina Cendekia. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study concluded that the application of differentiated learning contributed positively to the improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes.
