HUBUNGAN PENGUASAAN DIKSI DENGAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS IKLAN PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP PANCA BAKTI KABUPATEN BOGOR

Abstract


The background of this research is based on the lack of mastery of students diction in writing advertisements. The purpose of this study was to determine wheter there was a relationship between mastery of diction and writing skills of eighth grade students of Panca Bakti Middle School, Bogor. The method used in this research is the correlational method. The correlational method is used to compare the results of measurements of two different variabels in orders to determine the level of relationship between the variabels X and Y variabels in grade VIII  students of Panca Bakti, Bogor. Data were analyzed using the product moment correlation formula btained rcount of 0.39 smaller than rtabel of 0.312 with significant level  of 5% then H₀ and H were rejected. The conclusion from this study is there is a correlation between the mastery of diction and advertising writing skills.
