HUBUNGAN PENGGUNAAN INSTAGRAM DENGAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS IKLAN PADA SISWA KELAS VIII MTS YPPH AL-HIDAYAH CIAMPEA BOGOR

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Instagram use and ad writing skills in class VIII students at MTs YPPH Al-Hidayah, Ciampea District, Bogor Regency. The method used  in this study is the product moment correlation method. The used sampling technique in this research is random sampling. There are two variables namely variable (X), use of social media Instagram, and variable (Y), ad writing skills. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTs YPPH Al-Hidayah, which are around 64 students. The sample of the study was the students of class VIII MTs YPPH Al-Hidayah with a total of 33 students. Data collection techniques were done by using instruments in the form of questionnaires related to using social media Instagram and ad writing tests. The data were analyzed by using the product moment formula, so that the r count result (0.5049) is greater than rtable (0.344), which is 0.5049> 0.344, which means to HO and receive HI. In short, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the use of Instagram with ad writing skills in MTs YPPH Al-Hidayah students, Ciampea District, Bogor Regency.
