GERAKAN LITERASI SEKOLAH (GLS) TAHAP PEMBIASAAN: PERBEDAAN IMPLEMENTASI ANTARA SD NEGERI 3 PANGKAL PINANG DAN SD STKIP MUHAMMADIYAH BANGKA BELITUNG

Abstract


The background of this research is government regulations that schedule the implementation of the school literacy action (GLS) in schools. The GLS is carried out with the stages of habituation, development and learning. The habituation stage is the initial stage to reach the next stage. This research needs to be discussed about GLS habituation stages based on the conditions of different schools. The purpose of this research is to determine the differences in the implementation of the GLS program at the habituation stage between SD Negeri 3 Pangkalpinang and SD STKIP Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung (SD STKIPMBB) which have different school backgrounds. This research uses a type of qualitative descriptive research. The data collection techniques are carried out by observation, questionnaire (questionnaire), interview and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research used qualitative analysis techniques. The activities in data analysis are reduction data, display data and conclusion drawing / verification. The subjects of this research were teachers, headmaster, students at SD Negeri 3 Pangkalpinang and SD STKIP MBB. The results of this research indicate differences that occur between SD Negeri 3 Pangkalpinang with SD STKIP MBB including 1) amount of books in the school library, 2) the versatile room at SD Negeri 3 which is a hall with a capacity of approximately 100 people otherwise SD STKIP MBB has GOR which can accommodate all students, 3) SD STKIP MBB does not yet have a reading garden, 4) The activity of Morning reading at SD Negeri 3 Pangkalpinang which is reading the opposite book otherwise at SD STKIP MBB is reading Al Quran 5) The program supporters in SD Negeri 3 Pangkalpinang, namely the annual, monthly, weekly library programs and literacy interests such as reading fairy tales, poetry, writing short stories, poetry and verse.  Instead, SD STKIP MBB does not have an annual, monthly, and weekly library program. The literacy interest activities are also almost the same but schools have religious literacy activities such as Murojaah Al Quran and Musabaqah Al Quran
