ANALISIS NILAI TAMBAH PENGOLAHAN DEDAK PADI MENJADI DEFATTED DAN MINYAK

Salah satu sumber alam potensial yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku produk kimia terbarukan, ramah lingkungan adalah Dedak Padi, yaitu hasil samping penggilingan padi. Ketersediaan padi di Indonesia melimpah dan dedak padi yang diperoleh 10% (b/b) padi, kandungan minyak 10-20% (b/b) dedak padi. Penggunaan deddak padi umumnya sebagai bahan tambahan pakan ternak dan sebagai bahan baku produk kimia belum banyak. Dedak padi juga dapat diolah menjadi minyak dan defatted dedak padi. Dimana olahan ini dapat memberikan nilai tambah dadri dedak padi yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk bahan dasar produk lainnya. Dimana nilai tambah untuk minyak dedak padi sebesar 38,8% hal ini memiliki defenisi bahwa nilai tambah yang diberikan rendah, sedangkan untuk olahan dedak padi menjadi defatted dedak padi memiliki nilai tambah sebesar 64,48% hal ini memiliki defenisi bahwa nilai tambah yang diberikan tinggi. Jadi dalam hal ini produk yang dihasilkan dari dedak padi memiliki nilai tambah yang berbeda.References
