Abstract

Pada PT. Indonesia Epson Industry memiliki hampir ± 10000 orang karyawan di dalam nya. Untuk itu tenaga kerja dengan proses produksi yang ada perlu adanyan kestabilan agar perusahaan tidak mencapai kerugian. Perencanaan dan pengendalian produksi merupakan salah satu fungsi terpenting dalam mencapai tujuan dari industri manufaktur yaitu memproduksi secara sukses, ekonomis, tepat waktu sesuai dengan janji yang diberikan, dan memperoleh keuntungan.Salah satu metode yang bisa dipakai dalam perencanaan dan pengendalian produksi adalah dengan Program linier. Pemrograman Linear merupakan Perencanaan kegiatan-kegiatan untuk mencapai suatu hasil yang optimal, yaitu suatu hasil yang mencerminkan tercapainya sasaran tertentu yang paling baik (menurut model matematis) diantara alternatif-alternatif yang mungkin dengan menggunakan fungsi Linear. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh biaya untuk analisa produk defect untuk 1 tahun kedepan adalah US$ 7253,72 dan untuk jumalh pekerja perbulannya adalah : April = 13 orang, Mei = 10 orang, Juni = 11 orang, Juli = 9 orang, Agustus = 18 orang, September = 14 orang, Oktober = 12 orang, November = 11 orang, Desember 10 orang, Januari = 9 orang, Febuari = 8 orang dan maret = 8 orang.
