Rancang bangun mesin pelebur dan pencetak paving block berbahan dasar limbah plastik LDPE bertujuan untuk pendaurulangan limbah plastik dengan cara peleburan dan kemudian dicetak kembali menjadi produk terpakai dan diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi dalam proses daur ulang limbah plastik yang semakin meningkat. Rancang bangun mesin pelebur ini menggunakan sistem pengaduk yang terdiri dari 4 blade untuk mempemudah proses peleburan limbah plastik. Perencanaan dari mesin ini yaitu menggunakan motor listrik arus AC 1 HP dengan kecepatan putaran 1330 RPM. Putaran dari motor listrik direduksi hingga putaran pulley menjadi 532 RPM pada proses pengadukannya. Komponen pada mesin pelebur limbah plastik ini terdiri dari komponen yang dibeli dan ada pula yang diproduksi. Komponen yang dibuat diantaranya adalah pengaduk atau pengaduk, tabung pelebur, serta rangka penopang mesin. Hasil akhir dari mesin ini yaitu berupa plastik leleh yang telah tercampur oli untuk kemudian dicetak dalam cetakan paving block.Downloads
