EKSTRAKSI OLEORESIN JAHE GAJAH (Zingiber officinale var. Officinarum) DENGAN METODE SOKLETASI

Oleoresin merupakan hasil ekstraksi rempah yang didalamnya terkandung komponen-komponen yang berupa zat-zat volatil dan non-volatil yang masing-masing berperan dalam menentukan aroma dan rasa. Salah satu metode ekstraksi yang dapat digunakan untuk memperoleh oleoresin yaitu ekstraksi sokletasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ekstraksi sokletasi dengan tiga faktor: pelarut etanol, suhu ekstraksi (70 dan 80°C), dan waktu ekstraksi (30, 60, 90, 120 dan 150 menit). Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rendemen oleoresin, kelarutan oleoresin dalam pelarut, dan densitas oleoresin tertinggi secara berurutan 2,62%; 0,1213; dan 0,8588 gr/mL pada perlakuan waktu ekstraksi 150 menit dengan suhu 80o C.Downloads
