METODE EKSTRAKSI UNTUK PEROLEHAN KANDUNGAN FLAVONOID TERTINGGI DARI EKSTRAK DAUN KELOR (Moringa oleifera Lam)

Abstract
ABSTRAK. Kelor (Moringa oliefera) merupakan tanaman perdu yang mengandung senyawa antioksidan flavonoid, saponin, sitokinin, asam-caffeolylquinat dan mengandung asam lemak tak jenuh seperti linoleat (omega 6) dan alfalinolenat (omega 3). Tujuan penelitian yaitu menentukan kandungan total fenolik dari ekstrak daun kelor Moringa oliefera. Metode ekstraksi yang dilakukan antara lain maserasi, perkolasi, sokletasi, rebusan, dan ekstraksi ultrasonik. Ekstrak kasar yang diperoleh kemudian diuapkan menggunakan evaporator vakum putar. Uji fitokimia dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk mengetahui kandungan flavonoid total dalam ekstrak daun kelor. Kandungan total flavonoid terbesar diperoleh dari metode rebusan sebesar 245,771 mg/kg.
