Abstract

ABSTRAK. Indonesia merupakan suatu Negara yang dipimpin oleh seorang Presiden. Presiden Indonesia Kepala Negara, Presiden adalah simbol resmi Negara Indonesia di Dunia. Perlunya bangunan monumental untuk mengingatkan jasa-jasa Presiden terhadap Negara Indonesia dengan arsitektur yang mencermikan dan melestarikan arsitektur Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi lapangan yang akan didesain, wawancara, dokumentasi, studi preseden yang berkaitan dengan Museum dan Galeri Presiden dan pencampuran arsitektur tropis dan arsitektur modern. Metode analisi data, penetuan konsep, dan yang terakhir asistensi. Hasil dari perencanaan dan perancangan ini adalah merencanakan dan merancang bangunan museum dan galeri Presiden – Presiden Republik Indonesia dengan penekanan bentuk arsitektrur tropis dengan arsitektur modern yang akan diterapkan pada bentuk atap ataupun muka bangunan yang dapat mengkarakterkan bangunan Indonesia hingga arsitektur Indonesia dapat dikenal dunia.
