Abstract

ABSTRAK. Arsitektur di dunia memiliki ciri khas dan keunikan tersendiri tergantung pada budaya dan kondisi lingkungan. Untuk itulah, ada banyak jenis gaya arsitektur yang ada di dunia. Hal ini juga mengaktifkan persinggungan gaya arsitektur dengan gaya dan karakteristik yang berbeda dalam sebuah bangunan atau biasa dikenal dengan arsitektur hybrid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi arsitektur hybrid yang terdapat pada bangunan transportasi. Bangunan Transportasi adalah tempat di mana aktivitas memindahkan orang dan barang dari satu tempat ke tempat lain dengan menggunakan kendali manusia atau mesin. Bangunan transportasi yang menjadi bahan studikasus adalah stasiun yang memiliki hybrid antara gaya arsitektur modern dan kolonial Belanda.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi kasus Bangunan transportasi stasiun. Hasil yang didapat pada bangunan yaitu adanya modifikasi serta unifikasi pada fasad dan blokplan. Kata Kunci: Arsitektur Hybrid, Bangunan Transportasi, fasilitas,ABSTRACT.. Architecture in the world has its own characteristics and uniqueness depending on culture and environmental conditions. For this reason, there are many types of architectural styles in the world. This also enables the intersection of architectural styles with different styles and characteristics in a building or commonly known as hybrid architecture. This study aims to identify the hybrid architecture found in transportation buildings. Transportation Buildings are places where activities move people and goods from one place to another using human or machine control. The transportation building which is the case study material is a station which has a hybrid between modern and Dutch colonial architectural styles. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with a case study of the station transportation building. The results obtained for the building are modification and unification in facade and block plan.Keywords: Hybrid Architecture, Transportation Buildings, facilities,
