SINGAPORE POLYTECHNIC DENGAN PENDEKATAN ARSITEKTUR MODERN DI TANGERANG

Pendidikan Tinggi di Indonesia mengenal beberapa macam jenis antara lain universitas, akademi, institut, dan politeknik. Dengan berkembangnya era globalisasi, pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia juga mengalami tren perguruan tinggi asing. Dampak positif dari globalisasi ini membuat perguruan tinggi asing dapat beroperasi di Indonesia dengan mudah. Singapore Polytechnic merupakan salah satu politeknik bertaraf internasional yang bisa saja dikembangkan di Indonesia. Mengingat, di Indonesia belum terdapat politeknik dengan taraf internasional yang menawarkan berbagai macam program studi. Dengan memilih Tangerang sebagai lokasi tapak, Singapore Polytechnic diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu tujuan pilihan meneruskan pendidikan tinggi. Dalam menyusun konsep ini, metode yang dilakukan antara lain observasi secara langsung serta studi pustaka. Data-data tersebut dikompilasi untuk melakukan analisis data untuk mendapat konsep perancangan Singapore Polytechnic dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Modern. Hasil dari konsep ini adalah perancangan Singapore Polytechnic dengan menggunakan material terkini, dengan mengutamakan fungsionalisme ruang, dan fasad yang sederhana, kubistik dan minim ornamen namun tetap terlihat modern.
