PENERAPAN KONSEP ARSITEKTUR PERILAKU PADA BANGUNAN PUSAT REHABILITASI DOWN SYNDROME DI JAKARTA

Penyakit down syndrome adalah suatu penyakit kelainan genetik dari lahir yang membutuhkan tempat penanganan khusus atau rehabilitasi untuk penderita tersebut. Di Indonesia tempat pusat rehabilitasi down syndrome sendiri belum ada, hanya ada sekolah khusus atau tempat terapi khusus down syndrome, dengan lokasi yang berbeda dan fasilitas yang kurang lengkap. Di Indonesia terdapat 300.000 ribu kasus down syndrome. Dalam proses perancangan dengan konsep arsitektur perilaku, harus memperhatikan hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan pengguna ruangnya. Setiap pengguna ruang memiliki aktivitas dan perilaku yang berbeda, jadi untuk memaksimalkan fungsi ruang yang akan dirancang perlu diperhatikan perilaku penderita down syndrome yang akan menggunakan ruang tersebut. Dengan konsep arsitektur perilaku desain perancangan pusat rehabilitasi down syndrome diharapkan dapat memudahkan para penderita down syndrome mendapatkan fasilitas yang lengkap dan terpadu untuk para penderita down syndrome dalam melakukan proses pemulihan kemandirian dan beradaptasi dengan lingkungan..
