PENGARUH ELEMEN FASAD TERHADAP LAJU PERGERAKAN ALIRAN UDARA DI RUANG KELAS

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang pengaruh elemen fasad (kisi-kisi) terhadap persebaran aliran udara di ruang kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di ruang kelas gedung Class Room Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Hasanuddin dengan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Langkah-langkah penelitian ini ialah dengan melakukan pengukuran kecepatan aliran udara, kelembaban, dan temperatur pada beberapa ruang kelas, kemudian dilakukan pembuatan model sesuai objek penelitian, dan dilakukan simulasi dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SolidWorks 2016 sesuai parameter penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kisi-kisi yang terdapat di hadapan bukaan jendela mempengaruhi persebaran ailiran udara yang masuk ke dalam ruang kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas penerapan elemen fasad pada bangunan, dimana peran arsitektur dalam desain bangunan harus memperhatikan kondisi iklim dan alam untuk meminimalkan kondisi ketidaknyamanan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kisi-kisi pada fasad bangunan mempengaruhi laju pergerakan aliran udara yang masuk ke dalam ruang kelas, kemudian untuk memperoleh system ventilasi silang yang baik perlu dilakukan penambahan bukaan baik inlet/outlet maupun pintu ruang kelas diusahakan saling berhadapan. Kata kunci: kisi-kisi, kecepatan aliran udara, kenyamanan termal ABSTRACT. This paper elaborated about the influence of facade element to the wind spread in class room. It was conducted at Class Room Building of Engineering Faculty Hasanuddin University, by using quantitative descriptive method. This research measuring wind velocity, humidity, and temperature in each class room. The model that’d been created are simulated on SolidWorks 2016 Simulation software. Then based on that measured data, it showed that the fasade element (kisi-kisi) which prevented the window of the class room, was influentally filtring the wind spread in the room. The aim of this research was about to find out the effectiveness of fasade element where the role of architecture in building design should be payyed attention to the climate and nature condition, in order to minimize uncomforted condition.
