PENERAPAN TEORI LINKAGE DALAM PENATAAN KAWASAN WISATA PUSAKA SOEKARNO DI BLITAR

ABSTRAK. Kota Blitar yang merupakan kota dimana Presiden Pertama Republik Indonesia pernah tinggal dan dimakamkan. Kota ini memiliki bangunan-bangunan cagar budaya yang berkaitan dengan beliau yang juga tidak pernah sepi seperti makam Bung Karno, museum dan perpustakaan Bung Karno serta Istana Gebang (Jaringan Kota Pusaka Indonesia, 2009).Sayangnya diantara bangunan tersebut tidak terjalin pertalian karena letaknya yang berjauhan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan melalui teori perancangan kota (Linkage) Roger Trancik dengan membuat hubungan berdasarkan garis axis yang terbentuk dari kondisi eksiting menjadi penghubung berupa plaza dan jalan, maka diharapkan perencanaan dan perancangan kawasan wisata pusaka Soekarno ini menjadi lebih baik bagi wisatawan khususnya dalam aspek kenyamanan dan keamanan. Kata Kunci: kawasan, wisata, pusaka, Soekarno, linkage ABSTRACT. Blitar is a city where the first president of Republic Indonesia has ever been lived and buried. This city also has several heritage buildings attached to him which never been so quite such as Soekarno’s tomb, museum and library of Soekarno and Gebang Palace (Jaringan Kota Pusaka Indonesia, 2009). Unfortunately, there is no connection between each heritage because of its radius. Using the Linkage theory of urban design by Roger Trancik to create a connection between one heritage building to others by connecting its axis and convert it into plaza and pathway, this method could become an alternative solution to create Soekarno’s Heritage Tourism District to be better place for tourists particularly in the aspect of comfort and security.
