KONSEP ARSITEKTUR PADA BANGUNAN SEKOLAH BERASRAMA MUHAMMADIYAH

ABSTRAK. Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia pada tingkat sekolah SMP dan SMA semakin lama semakin berkembang dengan persaingan yang cukup tinggi. Terutama persaingan terhadap sekolah-sekolah negeri dan internasional yang mulai berkembang, namun dari segi agama sangat kurang. Ada beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan tingginya minat masyarakat memilih menjadi siswa sekolah negeri dan internasional. Karena orang tua menganggap bahwa sekolah negeri dapat dengan mudah melanjutkan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan sekolah swasta. Dengan menerapkan konsep arsitektur modern dalam merancang bangunan sekolah berasrama yang menyediakan pengajaran dengan komputerisasi. Dan menerapkan perbedaan bangunan sekolah berasrama yang sudah ada dengan konsep sekolah berasrama muhammadiyah yaitu memisahkan massa bangunan ikhwan dan akhwat, serta menyediakan belajar mengajar untuk pengabdian masyarakat. Kata Kunci: muhammadiyah, berasrama, sekolah, konsep, arsitektur, modern ABSTRACT. Islamic education in Indonesia at junior high school and senior high school level is increasingly growing with high competition. Especially the competition against the public and international schools that began to develop, but in terms of religion is very less. There are several factors that lead to high public interest in choosing to become public and international school students. Because parents assume that public schools can easily proceed to a higher level than private schools. By applying the concept of modern architecture in designing a boarding school building that provides computerized teaching. And apply the difference of existing boarding school buildings with the concept of muhammadiyah boarding school that separates masses of ikhwan and akhwat buildings, and provides teaching and learning for community service.
