PENDEKATAN PERANCANGAN MUSEUM MUSIK KESENIAN JAWA

ABSTRAK. Seni menurut Ki Hajar Dewantara merupakan segala perbuatan manusia yang timbul dari perasaan dan sifat indah, sehingga menggerakkan jiwa dan persaan manusia (kamus Bahasa Indonesia,2017). Kesenian merupakan suatu wadah untuk mengungkapkan suatu kreasi yang ada didalam setiap kebudayaan. Seni musik merupakan suatu hal yang lazim dinikmati oleh hampir setiap umat manusia termasuk di negara Indonesia. Bangsa indonesia merupakan bangsa yang memiliki banyak daerah dan terdiri dari berbagai suku bangsa. Kebudayaan dan keanekaragaman tradisi yang unik menjadi ciri khas yang ada di Indonesia salah satunya yaitu banyaknya kesenian musik tradisional yang setiap daerah pasti memilikinya khususnya seni musik yang ada di Jawa tengah dan Jawa Timur. Ide/gagasan untuk mendesain sebuah museum seni musik tradisional adalah untuk dapat mewadahi berbagai kesenian musik Jawa timur dan Jawa tengah secara khusus dari awal mula lahirnya musik tradisional Jawa, bahan yang digunakan untuk membuat alat musiknya, cara penggunaannya, perawatannya dan pelestarian serta cara mensingkronkan antara seni musik dan kesenian lainnya seperti seni tari dan adat istiadat yang ada didaerah Jawa. Kata Kunci: Museum, Kesenian, Jawa ABSTRACT. Art according to Ki Hajar Dewantara is all human deeds arising from the feeling and beautiful nature, thus moving the soul and human persaan (Indonesian dictionary, 2017). Art is a container to express a creation that exists within every culture. Music art is a common thing enjoyed by almost every human being, including in the country of Indonesia. Indonesia is a nation that has many regions and consists of various tribes. Culture and unique diversity of traditions characterize the one in Indonesia one of them is the number of traditional musical arts that each region must have it, especially music art that exist in Central Java and East Java. The idea to design a museum of traditional musical art is to be able to accommodate various artistry of East Java and Central Java music specifically from the beginning of the birth of traditional Javanese music, the material used to make the instrument, how to use it, its maintenance and preservation and how to synchronize between Art of music and other arts such as dance art and customs that exist in Java area.
