PENDEKATAN ARSITEKTUR IKONIK TRANSPORTATION HUB BANDARA INTERNASIONAL JAWA BARAT (BIJB)

Dalam perkembangannya sebuah bandara Internasional sangat tergantung kepada moda transportasi darat. Transportasi darat dibutuhkan untuk mempermudah kegiatan transportasi pada kawasan bandara baik di dalam maupun di luar bandara. Sebagai contoh, dibutuhkan moda transportasi akses masuk dan keluar bandara serta akses berpindah antar terminal bandara. Berdasarkan hal tersebut transportation hub atau pusat transportasi pada bandara sangat diperlukan guna menjawab kebutuhan transportasi yang ada di bandara. Konsep yang akan digunakan adalah arsitektur ikonik sebagai daya tarik bangunan dan memberikan kesan bangunan yang berbeda dari bangunan sekitar. Adanya Transportation hub pada bandara internasional Jawa Barat berkonsep arsitektur ikonik diharapkan dapat mempermudah berkegiatan transportasi dan juga mengurangi penggunaan kendaraan pribadi yang rentan menimbulkan kemacetan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur, wawancara serta observasi (tinjauan lapangan) dan juga studi preseden. Kemudian juga dilakukan análisis tapak, análisis massa bangunan dan arsitektur ikonik. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah bangunan transportation hub atau pusat trannsportasi yang ikonik, transportation hub dengan arsitektur ikonik ini diharapkan dapat menjawab kebutuhan transportasi umum darat pada bandara sehingga mempermudah dan menambah minat masyarakat untuk menggunakan transportasi umum.
