PENERAPAN KONSEP ARSITEKTUR SURYA PASIF PADA BANGUNAN PERIBADATAN MASJID SALMAN ITB

Indonesia merupakan negara tropis yang memiliki 2 musim yakni musim hujan dan musim kemarau. Indonesia mendapatkan sinar matahari secara intens sepanjang tahunnya. Namun sinar matahari yang cukup intens tersebut seringkali memberi dampak ketidaknyamanan pada bangunan-bangunan yang ada di Indonesia. Beberapa mayoritas bangunan masjid di Indonesia banyak yang tidak memperhatikan kualitas kenyamanan termal, visual dan kualitas udara dalam ruang. Maka dari itu, pengetahuan mengenai desain bangunan masjid yang memperhatikan aspek-aspek kualitas tersebut sangat diperlukan. Solusi yang lebih hemat energi dan berkelanjutan adalah solusi konsep arsitektur yang menerapkan desain pasif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui mengenai desain bangunan masjid dengan konsep arsitektur surya pasif sehingga dapat dipelajari dan dapat diterapkan pada bangunan masjid di Indonesia yang lainnya. Sehingga dapat menjaga masyarakat yang beribadah menjadi lebih kyusuk, menambah kualitas dalam beribadah, membuat jamaah nyaman di dalam masjid dan membuat bangunan masjid menjadi bangunan yang lebih ramah lingkungan.
