ANALISIS HUBUNGAN ANTARA UTANG LUAR NEGERI DAN POLITIK LUAR NEGERI INDONESIA 2014-2022

Abstract


Utang luar negeri suatu negara mempengaruhi hubungan bilateral da perilaku internasional. Indonesia telah mengakumulasi utang luar negeri mencapai Rp 7000 triliun dari berbagai pemerintah dan lembaga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tingginya volume utang luar negeri terhadap politik luar negeri Indonesia selama pemerintahan Joko Widodo dari tahun 2014-2022. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan akademisi dan analisis dokumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep utang luar negeri, politik luar negeri, dan saling ketergantungan yang kompleks. Hasilnya adalah bahwa ketika utang luar negeri meningkat, ketergantungan pada sumber keuangan luar negeri juga meningkat. Hubungan bilateral Indonesia di negara-negara pemberi utang juga di satu sisi semakin membaik. Namun demikian, pelaksanaan politik luar negeri dengan negara-negara ini tidak lagi kritis.
