POTENSIAL BIOSORBEN DALAM REMOVAL FOSFAT DENGAN METODE ADSORBSI: A REVIEW

Abstract


Limbah cair yang terkontaminasi dapat di adsorpsi menggunakan berbagai jenis biosorben yang berfungsi untuk menghilangkan logam berat yang berada pada air limbah, Proses adsorpsi termasuk salah satu proses yang baik digunakan untuk menghilangkan fosfat dengan efisiensi biaya. Biosorben berbiaya rendah telah menjadi sangat penting dalam dekade terakhir untuk efisiensi penghilangan kontaminan dari air limbah. Penghapusan dan daur ulang anion fosfat melalui metode benign relevan untuk mempertahankan keseimbangan yang stabil dan dapat mengurangin kandungan fosfat yang terdapat dalam air limbah. Terdapat beberapa jenis biosorben yang baik untuk digunakan dengan penyerapan yang besar yaitu  menggunakan limbah kulit jeruk penyerapan sekitar 99,02%, batang pisang 99%, sabut kelapa 99%, Arang bambu barbekyu 99,2%, Kulit telur limbah yang dikalsinasi, kerang 99,2%, Buluh alami (Arundo donax) 99%, Gambut termodifikasi dengan besi (III) 99%. Dalam penggunaan biosorben tanaman atau kayu seperti kulit, batang pisang, kerang untuk biosorpsi fosfat diamati lebih tinggi dari pada jenis lain seperti limbah eceng gondok, kayu kenari, fragmit, dan coir pith, Persentase adsorpsi sangat bagus. Salah satu fakta penting yang mempengaruhi biosorpsi fosfat yaitu pH. Adapun beberapa parameter yang mempengaruhi persentasi hasil adsorpsi yaitu konsentrasi, suhu, sorben, ukuran partikel, konsentrasi fosfat, kecepatan pengadukan, dan pH. Terdapat studi kinetika dalam proses adsorbsi yaitu studi isotherm, kinetika adsorpsi dan studi desorpsi.
