KAJIAN ANALISA TEORI PENGARUH BALLAST TERHADAP GERAKAN PITCH PADA KAPAL SELAM MINI 22M

Abstract


Sistem ballast merupakan salah satu sistem yang sangat penting dalam kapal selam. Pada kapal konvensional penggunaan ballast memberikan fungsi untuk menjaga stabilitas kapal, sedangkan pada kapal selam sistem ballast memegang peranan penting selain menjaga stabilitas dalam proses olah gerak kapal juga berperan sangat vital dalam proses menyelam maupun mengapung. Studi ini menggunakan model teori analiti dimana kapal selam yang dianggap merupakan benda pejal dan model bergerak secara bebas kemudian dilakukan analisa gerak pitching akibat ketika melakukan penyelaman. Floating Body Mechanism merupakan pengembagan gaya dasar berdasarkan teori dasar gaya. Pada kasus ini, kapal selam akan diberikan ballas sebesar 30% pada tangki balast. Makalah ini menjelaskan sebuah studi tentang teoritis dan pemodelan Analitik dalam CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics).Gerakan Response Amplitude Operator (RAO) pitch adalah sebesar 7,3˚/m. Secara umum, kedua metode (model analitik dan model CFD) menunjukkan adanya tren yang sama, terutama dalam tren RAO yang konsisten.
