STUDI SIMULASI DAN EKSPERIMEN PADA KARAKTERISTIK LISTRIK SEL SURYA YANG TERHUBUNG SECARA SERI

Abstract


Rangkaian seri hanya memiliki sebuah lintasan untuk arus untuk mengalir. Oleh karena itu, semua arus pada rangkaian pasti mengalir melewati semua beban. Pemutusan rangkaian pada sebuah titik akan menyebabkan seluruh rangkaian beroperasi. Ketika menghubungkan sel surya secara seri, tegangannya bertambah, tetapi arusnya tetap sama. Keuntungan dari menghubungkan sel surya secara parallel adalah bisa menghasilkan efisiensi yang lebih tinggi dan biaya lebih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mensimulasikan karakteristik listrik sel surya dan mengujinya secara eksperimen. Pada penelitian ini, hasil eksperimen dan simulasi pada sel surya tunggal menghasilkan tegangan sirkuit terbuka sebesar kurang lebih 0,5 volt dan arus sirkuit pendek sebesar 0,4 ampere. Sementara, 5 buah sel surya tunggal yang dihubungkan secara seri menghasilkan tegangan sirkuit terbuka kurang lebih 2,5 volt dan arus sirkuit pendek kurang lebih 0,4 ampere.
