SOSIALISASI IMPLEMENTASI PARENTING EDUCATION DALAM MENGATASI KESULITAN BELAJAR ANAK

Abstract


Orang tua dan guru bisa saling bekerja sama dalam suatu program yaitu parenting education, program tersebut sangat penting untuk menunjang proses Pendidikan peserta didik, terlebih orang tua adalah pendidik utama anaknya. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan untuk mensosialisasikan program parenting education terutama untuk melihat proses belajar anak di rumah pasca pandemic covid 19 di Lab School FIP UMJ. Metode yang digunakan adalah adanya sosialisasi dan menyebarkan angket kepada orang tua. Hasil survei yang dilakukan kepada 81 orang tua menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi orang tua dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar anak pasca pandemic yaitu berkurang sebanyak 24,7%, sama saja sebesar 34,6%, sangat besar 34,6%. Partisipasi parenting yang dilakukan oreng tua di sekolah yaitu komunikasi melalui Whatsapp sebanyak 69%. Efektifitas program parenting di sekolah sebanyak 69% menghasilkan efektif. Komunikasi antara guru dan orang tua sehingga komunikasi yang baik mengahasilkan 58% dan melakukan komunikasi yang sangat baik menghasilkan 42%. Proses belajar anak di rumah pasca pandemic dilaksanakan dalam waktu berapa lama yaitu 1 – 2 jam sebanyak 41% dan waktu yang tidak terjadwal sebanyak 44,4%. Pendamping proses belajar anak di rumah didampingi oleh orang tua sebanyak 93%.
