Hubungan Karakteristik Pasien dengan Perilaku Swamedikasi Analgesik di Apotek Kabupaten Kediri, Indonesia

Abstract


Swamedikasi adalah upaya masyarakat dalam mengobati dirinya sendiri secara mandiri terhadap penyakit yang ringan. Analgesik merupakan salah satu jenis obat yang banyak digunakan secara swamedikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik pasien dengan perilaku swamedikasi analgesik di apotek Kabupaten Kediri tahun 2019. Metode penelitian adalah survei analitik Cross-Sectional, menggunakan kuesioner yang melibatkan 106 pasien di 37 apotek Kabupaten Kediri. Apotek ditentukan secara Stratified Random Sampling berdasarkan data jumlah apotek di seluruh Kabupaten Kediri. Variabel independen yaitu karakteristik pasien, sedangkan variabel dependen yaitu perilaku swamedikasi analgesik. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan uji statistik non-parametrik Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa perempuan lebih banyak menggunakan analgesik secara swamedikasi sebesar 51,9%, usia 30 tahun ke atas sebanyak 67%, pekerjaan terbanyak adalah karyawan swasta/wiraswasta sebesar 49,1%, pendidikan terbanyak pasien adalah lulusan SMA sebesar 50%, dan 74,5% berpenghasilan rendah. Sebagian besar pasien memiliki perilaku yang baik dalam melakukan swamedikasi analgesik (79,2%). Simpulan penelitian adalah karakteristik pasien yang meliputi pekerjaan (p=0,013) dan pendidikan (p=0,001) berhubungan dengan perilaku swamedikasi analgesik di apotek Kabupaten Kediri tahun 2019. Karakteristik pasien yang tidak berhubungan meliputi jenis kelamin, usia dan penghasilan.
