Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya budaya literasi siswa di Indonesia yang berperan terhadap perkembangan kecerdasan linguistik siswa. Program ini sudah berjalan hampir selama 3 tahun untuk membantu membiasakan dan membudayakan gerakan membaca oleh siswa, guru dan stakeholder sekolah lainya, sehingga diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan secara luas.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran Program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah dalam meningkatkan Kecerdasan Linguistik Siswa, serta partisipasi stakeholder dalam mendorong budaya literasi dilingkungan sekolah melalui multi pendekatan.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Jumlah Responden 17 orang (1 Kepala Sekolah, 1 Wakakurikulum, 2 Wali Kelas, 3 Wali Murid, 5 Siswa Kelas IV dan 5 Siswa Kelas V.Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa 1) Program gerakan literasi indonesia memiliki peran yang sangat fundamental/urgens terhadap Kecerdasan Linguistik Siswa, 2). Program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah di SD Lab School FIP UMJ membuat siswa terbiasa membaca dan termotivasi untuk menulis, sehingga terdapat beberapa siswa yang memiliki potensi yang baik dalam membuat karya tulis seperti cerpen dan puisi ataupun artikel sederhana lainnya.Referensi
