Abstract

This paper explores the implementation of Lean Construction in the Indonesian construction industry, focusing on its impact on improving project efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing resource utilization. Lean Construction, a methodology derived from Lean Manufacturing, emphasizes value creation by eliminating non-value-added activities and fostering collaboration among all stakeholders. This study employs a qualitative research approach by exploring various literature related to the implementation of lean construction, both in Indonesia and in other countries. The findings suggest that adopting Lean Construction in Indonesia could address critical challenges in the sector, such as delays, budget overruns, and inefficient resource management, contributing to the industry's competitiveness and growth. Finally, the paper discusses the potential benefits of integrating Lean Construction with other innovative technologies, such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), to further streamline construction processes and achieve higher levels of project success
