The Journal of Public Policy and Society (JPPS) is a scholarly platform dedicated to the dissemination of contemporary knowledge and research findings in the field of public policy. It seeks to promote critical analysis, innovative thinking, and evidence-based discussions on policy-making processes, governance practices, and regulatory frameworks that shape public life. JPPS welcomes contributions from academics, practitioners, and policy experts whose work explores the dynamics of policy design, implementation, and evaluation in diverse sociopolitical contexts.

With a focus on the interplay between policy and society, JPPS emphasizes the importance of understanding how public policies impact communities, influence social structures, and address pressing societal challenges. By publishing empirical studies, theoretical reflections, and policy reviews, JPPS aims to foster a deeper engagement between research and practice, encouraging informed decision-making and the development of inclusive, effective public policies that serve the public good.

Published by Center for Border and Coastal Studies, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta an organization that mainly focuses on local development in the frontier and maritime societies sectors based on social sciences, culture, and technological innovation. All manuscripts submitted to  Journal of Public Policy Society are double-blind and peer-reviewed.
