DAMPAK KEBIJAKAN ANALOGUE SWITCH-OFF (ASO) TERHADAP PERUBAHAN SOSIAL, EKONOMI DAN TATA MEDIA PENYIARAN DI INDONESIA

Abstract


Analogue switch-off (ASO) adalah proses pemutusan sinyal televisi analog sehingga transmisi digital benar-benar diadopsi. Pemerintah Indonesia menganggap digitalisasi penyiaran sebagai elemen penting transformasi digital. Indonesia saat ini sedang berjuang untuk pindah ke ASO total seluruh negeri untuk meraup manfaat sosial dan ekonomi dari konversi digital. Melalui penelitian ini, peneliti mencoba mendeskripsikan dan melengkapi penelitian terkait penyiaran digital, khususnya urgensi digitalisasi siaran, mengingat dampaknya yang sangat besar. Penelitian ini secara khusus menggunakan penelitian deskriptif untuk memberikan gambaran yang mendetail tentang suatu fenomena tertentu. Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat di industri televisi dipengaruhi oleh hadirnya televisi digital dan konvergensi media. Digitalisasi siaran televisi ini dapat mendorong inovasi yang lebih baik, penciptaan lapangan kerja, produktivitas, dan daya saing, mengalokasikan dividen digital ke komunikasi seluler akan mendorong adopsi internet dan memiliki dampak ekonomi besar yang menguntungkan.
