Kajian Konsep Desain Arsitektur Tropis Modern Pada Bangunan Rusunawa Kota Madiun

Indonesia merupakan negara beriklim tropis lembab dengan intensitas curah hujan yang tinggi dan dan kemarau yang pendek. Selain itu Indonesia juga merupakan negara kepulauan yang cukup padat akan penduduk, kepadatan tersebut menyebabkan lahan untuk membangun suatu hunian tempat tinggal menjadi semakin terbatas setiap tahunnya. Solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan membuat hunian tempat tinggal yang bersifat vertikal, atau biasa disebut dengan rumah susun. Dalam menciptakan bangunan rumah susun yang aman, nyaman, serta layak untuk dihuni, bangunan harus dapat beradaptasi terhadap iklim dan zaman untuk menyelaraskan antara desain bangunan terhadap kondisi alam dan kebutuhan masyarakat pada zaman tersebut. Oleh karena itu pendekatan konsep desain bangunan yang relevan untuk diterapkan daerah beriklim tropis adalah konsep arsitektur tropis modern.References
