Bunda Mulya Housing University is a hostel or residence for Bunda Mulya University students, both for students who are far from campus or from outside the city of Jakarta. This building is the response of Bunda Mulia University to the world's worst traffic problem. Jakarta is a big city with a population of more than 10 million and an increasing number of out-of-town students applying to the university every year. The UBM Housing building is only a five-minute walk from the campus. UBM Housing is a building provided by Bunda Mulya University for its students. UMB Housing can be said to fulfill bioclimatic architecture because UBM Housing can produce a design that responds to the local climate with limited land that makes the temperature inside the building comfortable for human activities and can utilize natural resources for comfort inside the building. Bioclimatic architecture is modern architecture that is influenced by climate. Bioclimatic architecture is an approach taken by architects to help complete a design by taking into account the relationship between the climate in the area and the architectural form to be built. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. With this approach it is expected to be able to produce an overview of the application of bioclimatic architecture in UMB Housing buildings. The purpose of this research is to understand the concept of bioclimatic architecture in the UMB Housing building design. In addition to understanding how to apply the concept of bioclimatic architecture in UBM Housing buildings. Keywords: architecture, bioclimatic architecture, climateDownloads
