Penerapan Konsep Arsitektur Tektonika Pada Museum Gempa Yogyakarta

ABSTRAK. Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu wilayah rawan bencana gempa. Gempa bumi terhebat yang pernah terjadi di Yogyakarta adalah pada tahun 2006 yang mengakibatkan banyak kerusakan dan jatuhnya korban jiwa. Peristiwa tersebut merupakan peristiwa hebat yang pernah terjadi di Indonesia setelah peristiwa bencana tsunami Aceh pada tahun 2004. Namun, peristiwa gempa 2006 mulai memudar dari ingatan masyarakat karena tidak adanya lokasi atau tempat yang dapat mengembalikan kesan dan perasaan ketika terjadi gempa 2006. Maka dari itu, perlu dirancang sebuah Museum Gempa Yogyakarta dengan Konsep Arsitektur Tektonika di Yogyakarta. Dalam tulisan ini akan diuraikan analisa-analisa maupun konsep arsitektur tektonika melalui studi preseden Museum Tsunami Aceh, Kobe Earthquake Museum, dan Aspen Art Museum. Dengan dirancangnya Museum Gempa Yogyakarta diharapkan dapat mengabadikan bencana besar yang menimpa Yogyakarta serta dapat memberikan edukasi tentang bencana gempa bumi kepada masyarakat. The greatest earthquake that ever occurred in Yogyakarta was in 2006 which resulted in a lot of damage and casualties. the earthquake was a great incident that ever happened in Indonesia after the tsunami disaster of Aceh in 2004. However, the earthquake in 2006 began to fade from the memory of the community because there is no location or place that can restore the impression and feeling when the earthquake occurred in 2006. Therefore, it is necessary to design a Yogyakarta Earthquake Museum with the concept of tectonic architecture in Yogyakarta in the hope that the museum becomes a place that can restore the impression and feelings of society when the earthquake of 2006 and provide education.
