PENERAPAN KONSEP STRUKTUR "V" SEBAGAI ELEMEN ESTETIKA PADA GEDUNG TEATER DI BANDUNG

ABSTRAK. Kota Bandung Merupakan Kota yang menjunjung tinggi nilai kebudayaan dan adat istiadatnya. Perkembangan Kota Bandung berjalan dengan dinamis dalam setiap tahunnya, Perkembangan tersebut tidak lepas dari adanya jiwa seni dan budaya dari masyarakatnya yang sangat dilestarikan. Berbagai Kesenian yang ada di Bandung membuat Kota Bandung lebih hidup dan dikenal di kancah domestik maupun Internasional. Penerapan struktur “V” sebagai elemen estetika pada gedung teater ini di maksudkan untuk mewadahi pertunjukan kesenian yang sudah berskala besar dan internasional. Konsep yang memadukan Struktur sebagai elemen estetik akan melengkapi keindahan bentuk bangunan. Metode pengumpulan data dalam perencanaan dan perancangan ini adalah dengan studi literatur, studi preseden dan wawancara. Penerapan struktur sebagai elemen estetika pada gedung teater di bandung terlihat pada sistem struktur “V” yang berfungsi sebagai penyangga bangunan utama dengan material kombinasi beton dan baja, dikarenakan fungsi kegiatan yang dilakukan membutuhkan ruangan yang bebas kolom (bentang lebar) sehingga akses lebih optimal. Kata kunci : Bandung, Pagelaran, Seni Teater, Kesenian, Budaya ABSTRACT. The city of Bandung is a city that upholds cultural values and customs. The development of the city of Bandung runs dynamically in each year, these developments can not be separated from the existence of the spirit of art and culture of the people who are very preserved. Various arts in Bandung make the city of Bandung more alive and known on the domestic and international scene. The application of the structure "V" as an aesthetic element in the theater is intended to accommodate large-scale and international art performances. Concepts that combine structure as an aesthetic element will complement the beauty of the shape of the building. The method of data collection in planning and designing is by studying literature, precedent studies and interviews. The application of the structure as an aesthetic element in the theater building in Bandung is seen in the "V" structural system which serves as a buffer for the main building with concrete and steel combination materials, because the activities carried out require a column-free room (wide span) so that access is more optimal.
