PENGARUH KADAR KATALIS NIKEL DARI LIMBAH INDUSTRI ELEKTROPLATING PADA BESARNYA BILANGAN OKSIRAN DAN BILANGAN IOD DARI REAKSI EPOKSIDASI METIL OLEAT
Abstract
epoksidasi metil oleat. Sebagai senyawa pembawa oksigen digunakan asam asetat. Variabel yang digunakan adalah konsentrasi katalis 20%, 40%, 60%, dan 80% dari berat asam asetat glasial. Temperatur reaksi 70oC, dan waktu reaksi bervariasi 1,2,3 dan 4 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingginya nilai oksiran yaitu sebesar 1,24 pada konsentrasi katalis 20% dan waktu reaksi 4 jam, sedangkan bilangan iod yang diperoleh sebesar 64,81.
