ELIF: English Language in Focus

ELIF Journal is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to develop all those involved in English Language Teaching (ELT) whether as a second, additional, or foreign language, or as an international Lingua Franca.

ELIF Journal aims to provide an informed-discussion media of learning and teaching practices. The Journal publishes conceptually based studies in two major fields:

  • English Language: Language Structures, Language Use, Language Change, Language Development, and Language Acquisition.
  • English Language Teaching: Innovations in ELT, Issues in ELT, Teachers' Training and Education, Teachers’ Professional Development, Essential Teacher’s Knowledge, and Practical English Language Teaching.

ELIF Journal is published online, twice a year, February and August. It is managed by the English Department, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta.
