PENGEMBANGAN MODEL KEPEMIMPINAN DOSEN DALAM RANGKA MENGHASILKAN LULUSAN SARJANA TEKNIK INDUSTRI YANG BERJIWA ISLAMI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model kepemimpinan dosen yang dibutuhkan oleh mahasiswa di jurusan teknik industri guna menghasilkan lulusan yang profesional dalam bidang teknik industri namun berjiwa islami yang merupakan ciri khas dari institusi ini. Untuk mencapai tujuan ini maka dibutuhkan cara penyampaian pembelajaran baik secara formal maupun non formal yang tertuang dalam model kepemimpinan dosen dalam mengarahkan mahasiswa agar mau melakukan tugasnya sebagai mahasiswa sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah islam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dimana pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi pada mahasiswa teknik industri FT UMJ tahun ajaran 2015-2016. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif yaitu mendeskripsikan data yang didapat sehingga dapat menggambarkan kenyataan yang sebenarnya. Hasil penelitian ini adalah model kepemimpinan islami yang diterapkan pada dosen teknik industri yaitu lemah lembut namun tegas, memiliki ilmu yang bersumber pada Al-Quran dan Hadist, amanah dan transparan.
