Abstract

ABSTRAK. Pasar tradisional Demak Merupakan pasar  terbesar di kabupaten Demak, agar pasar tradisional dapat diterima kalangan atas dan sebaliknya kalangan bawah juga dapat merasakan kebersihan dan kenyamanan dalam berbelanja. Melakukan redesain pasar Demak dengan pendekatan Hybrid Tradisional dan modern adalah salah satu metode yang dapat menyelesaikan problematika bahwa pasar tradisional secara umum kurang nyaman dan kurang bersih. Dengan adanya redesain pasar tradisional yang lebih tertata ruang-ruang, sirkulasi, dan kebersihanya seperti pasar modern ini diharapkan dapat menarik minat bagi kalangan menengah atas untuk berbelanja di pasar tradisional. Fasad yang menarik dengan menggabungkan arsitektur tradisional dan arsitektur modern tentunya akan lebih menarik perhatian masyarakat untuk berbelanja di pasar Demak.
