KONSEP FUTURISTIK PADA PERANCANGAN GEDUNG KANTOR MANAJEMEN SCHLUMBERGER JAKARTA

ABSTRAK. Keberadaan Kantor Perwakilan Schlumberger sejak berdiri di Indonesia sampai saat ini masih menempati gedung atau kantor sewa. Rentang waktu, prestasi dan pengalaman Schlumberger yang cukup lama ini membutuhkan fasilitas fisik yang mampu mengakomodir fungsi dan kegiatannya di Indonesia. Eksistensi Schlumberger sebagai perusahaan penambangan minyak multinasional nomor satu di dunia yang terus mengembangkan dan mengedepankan inovasi teknologi tapi kurang menarik perhatian masyarakat. Faktor inilah yang mempengaruhi timbulnya gagasan untuk merencanakan dan merancang Gedung Kantor Schlumberger di Jakarta, sekaligus sebagai pemilihan judul Tugas Akhir. Dirancang dengan konsep futuristik bertujuan dapat menunjukan eksistensi Schlumberger dan ekspresi sebagai perusahaan terdepan dalam pengembangan dan penggunaan teknologi maju. Selain itu percancangan gedung ini harus memberikan manfaat kepada semua pihak terutama dalam alih teknologi melalui pendidikan di Schlumberger. Begitupun dengan kenyamanan dan keamanan kepada pengguna, dengan tetap mengedepankan teknologi yang dicerminkan melalui konsep arsitektur futuristik.
