Kajian Arsitektur Tradisional Sunda Pada Desain Resort

Indonesia memiliki keragaman budaya dan kekayaan alam maupun keindahan alam yang sangat banyak, salah satunya pada daerah Jawa Barat. Jawa Barat merupakan daerah yang dikenal dengan budaya Sunda. Arsitektur tradisional merupakan arsitektur yang merupakan hasil karya nenek moyang terdahulu yang telah disepakati dan turun-temurun. Arsitektur tradisional pada dasarnya mengutamakan unsur lokal sebagai aspek-aspeknya. Arsitektur tradisional memiliki cara tersendiri untuk merefleksikan dirinya di lingkungan sekitarnya. Terdapat berbagai macam wujud arsitektur tradisional yang ada di Indonesia. Resort merupakan tempat wisata yang dilengkapi dengan tempat penginapan dan fasilitas penunjang lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji mengenai desain resort dengan menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur tradisional Sunda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mendeskripsikan wujud konsep dan karakteristik arsitektur tradisional. Selain itu, diharapkan dapat mendeskripsikan mengenai penerapan wujud arsitektur tradisional Indonesia pada desain resort.
