SINTEK JURNAL: Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Mesin is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research and review articles aimed at advancing the understanding of fundamental engineering science and its application to addressing challenges and problems in the field of mechanical engineering.

The editorial team strives to publish high-quality, practically oriented research and innovations with significant potential for wide dissemination, particularly focusing on advancements in mechanical engineering and related machining sciences.

SINTEK JURNAL: Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Mesin is in the third grade (SINTA 3) of National Accreditation by Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (RISTEKDIKTI). It is contained in the decree No. 36/E/KPT/2019.

The journal's inaugural issue was published in late 2007, and it began accepting articles in English starting from Vol. 14, No. 1, in 2020. Published biannually in June and December, the journal employs a rigorous double-blind peer-review process for all submitted manuscripts, evaluated by anonymous referees. Consequently, prospective authors are required to submit original, relevant research findings in the form of articles written in English.
