UPAYA ADJUSTMENT DAN ADAPTASI UNTUK MENGATASI EKSTERNALITAS RUANG NEGATIF

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui  besar eksternalitas ruang negatif dari ruang hasil dari pola pembangunan Bandung Super Mall. Besar eksternalitas ruang diukur dari upaya yang dilakukan penghuni untuk mengatasi eksternalitas ruang negatif. Upaya tersebut berupa tindakan adaptasi dan adjustment penghuni. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif-kuantitatif. Metodologi penelitian awalnya bersifat deskriptif-eksploratif, selanjutnya untuk menghitung besar dampak dari upaya penghuni secara adjustment, perhitungan dilakukan dengan menggunakan harga satuan bahan dan upah bangunan yang dikeluarkan oleh Departemen Kimpraswil. Sedangkan untuk mengetahui besar upaya adaptasi digunakan metoda psikologi.

ABSTRACT. This research was conducted to determine the size of externalities of negative space from a result space of the development pattern of Bandung Super Mall. The size of externalities space has been measured from the efforts made by residents to overcome externatilies of negative space. Those efforts are adaptation action and residents’ adjustment.This research is qualitative-quantitative research.  Initially the research methodology is descriptive-explorative, and then to calculate the impact of the efforts of residents in adjustment, the calculation is done by using the unit price of building materials and wages incurred by the Ministry of Settlement and Regional Infrastructure. On the other hand, to determine how extend to which the adaptation efforts, it has been used psychology method.
